DJing, as a cultural notion, is undeniably cool, but mostly an abstraction — we know we would totally do it if we could, but the gap between “DJing is cool” and actually making shit happen is pretty vast.
This is, in truth, not nearly as awesome a video as it’s hyped to be. Mostly, it’s a lesson in How Not To MC. But: true to word, shortly after the 6-minute mark is where you see a cultural notion made stupefyingly real.
